The new Christmas toys are already filling the shelves at most major retailers, and this year Playing Mantis jumps in with another of their holiday lines based on a Rankin/Bass show - Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
Now, this show was never one of my favorites, but when I saw how cool the Mail Truck, driven by the narrator S.D. (Special Delivery) Kluger, was in person, I couldn't resist. This is a terrific addition to your Christmas display, and fits in great with other lines like Rudolph.

ya know i was in toys r us yesterday and had that boxed set in my hands and just couldn't bring myself to buy it...my wife was with me and said they didn't look "as good as others i buy/not up to par"....i think you said it best ..."you have to really be a fan , to pick this set up".....

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well, I am and I did buy it. Don't regret it for a second. Doc Ock and Kraven I could do without but it's the only Black Cat we've got. It's also the best Venom and, aside from the Marvel Select version, Green Goblin figures out there, IMO. I've noticed that this set gets a lot of single figure theft - people pulling out either Electro, GG, Black Cat or Venom. Seems like lots of folks only want one of the figure, but not the whole set...
